Project Description
Created base maps, calculation details, and documents for a public meeting for a project to re-align the road adjacent to the LIRR station in Roslyn Heights. Extensive research was necessary to determine property lines and Right-of-Way due to conflicting and incomplete historical data. The coordinate system specified for the project was NAD83 coordinate system. We used rapid static GPS survey methods to tie our local control into Nassau County monuments and delivered the final base maps in digital format for inclusion in the Nassau County Geographic System.
